Intelligent planning and conserving resources!

Economy just works in combination with transport. As a company of the green trade, we know that traffic adds to environmental pollution. It´s impossible to avoid pollution completely, but out of our experience we have learned, that the environment and quality are in close connection. 

We are aware of our responsibility towards environmental protection and security. When we choose new locations for our branches, we look for favorable local characteristics like transport connections, peripheral regions near the urban areas and short ways to the highways and airports.

Our modern vehicle fleet takes a significant role as well. We predominantly use vehicles of the Euro 5 norm which are additional equipped with noise control tires. The average age of our trucks is under 3 years.

We avoid an empty run with the combination of our tour planning system “Carlo” and clocked tours to a large extent. We use grown networks, synergy and combine destinations, if we can keep the required delivery times. We also try to optimize the utilization of the haulage contingent. That preserves the environment and reduces costs likewise.

The environmental guidelines are mandatory for all locations and fixed in our company principles:

• We are continually acting to improve our green credentials.
• We look out for the optimal use of resources. 
  Environmental impacts are checked regularly and will be reduced if possible.
• We take part in the Flower Label Program (FLP) and support equitable and environmental conscious cultivation of flowers in the country of origin.
• We minimize environmental pollution through optimized route planning, high logistical utilization, reduction of empty runs and the usage of reduced-emission vehicles.
• We encourage all of our employees to be ecology-minded.
